Senior Data Analyst

Summary

Join LeafLink's growing data organization as a Senior Data Analyst and become a key driver of data-driven decisions. You will develop a deep understanding of business drivers, communicate findings to various audiences, and lead the charge in promoting self-service analytics. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. You will work with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage projects, and contribute to LeafLink's thought leadership in cannabis data. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an analyst or consultative role
• 1+ years of experience using a BI tool (Sigma, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• Consultative approach to working with stakeholders and requirements gathering
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, ability to write complex queries against large datasets
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced growth business with many collaborators

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the business drivers and go deep into the “why” when a key metric changes
• Use clear communication and empathy with stakeholders to gather the right requirements
• Clearly communicate findings to a variety of non-technical audiences
• Lead the charge in enabling data-driven decision-making by promoting self-service
• Take a scientific approach to problem-solving to eliminate bias in decisions
• Partner with stakeholders and team leads to push forward LeafLink’s thought leadership in the Cannabis Data space
• Manage long-term projects by scoping your work and coordinating stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with dbt for data modeling and diagnosing weirdness in data
• Experience using statistical modeling such as time series forecasting, regression, correlations
• Experience in using Python or R for advanced analysis
• Experience working in a modern data stack environment (preferably built on AWS)
