Requirements

  • Have 4+ years of experience working as a credit focused analyst or data scientist at a fintech or bank
  • Have expert SQL proficiency and can navigate complex data warehouse relationships
  • Have proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI) and advanced Excel skills
  • Have strong expertise in Python for data analysis, modeling, and visualization, with experience using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib/Seaborn
  • Be a self starter who takes initiative and can operate with a high degree of independence
  • Have the ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced analytics to derive meaningful insights from complex data sets. Focus on analyzing lending product performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations
  • Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) related to credit risk. Develop strategies to mitigate risk while supporting business growth
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across channels by analyzing key metrics such as engagement, conversion rates, funnel performance and ROI. Provide actionable insights to optimize future strategies
  • Leverage data analytics to understand user behavior patterns, segment audiences, and identify opportunities to enhance customer experiences and drive business growth
  • Work closely with product managers and developers to inform and guide the development of new credit products. Use data-driven insights to influence product strategy and design
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Clearly communicate findings and recommendations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data analytics tools and methodologies. Continuously seek ways to improve our data analysis processes and credit product offerings
