Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in web design and development including mobile and responsive design
- Must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust security clearance
- Experience with enterprise-decoupled Drupal architecture, as well as configuration
- Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release and operation support
- Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology
- Experience with software development best practices, including coding standards, object-oriented programming, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
- Experience building decoupled Drupal CMS platforms
- Experience with Content Management System design, build, and integration
- Strong proficiencies in implementing solutions in Drupal 10 using core, contributed, and custom modules
- Experience deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS and other Drupal specific hosting providers and supporting CI/CD pipeline development
- Experience working with Git and common branch workflows as well continuous integration using Github Actions or similar
- Unit testing and automated unit test execution implementation using CI/CD pipelines and scripts
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with current web technologies and development tools, e.g., Docker, JavaScript JQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, CSS/CSS3, Bootstrap, HTML5, PHP, API, Web Services, JSON, GraphQL, HTTPS
- Experience working with Linux based operating systems
- Advanced knowledge of usability/accessibility standards of user interface development in order to produce code compliant for Section 508 accessibility; may work with development tools that aid in this process
Responsibilities
- Designing, creating, unit testing, and maintaining responsive and decoupled websites using web development tools with a focus on easy-to-administer and user-centered editorial experience
- Interacting with cross-functional team to gather, define, and analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies and leading engineering team to satisfy business needs
- Creating efficient/logical databases
- Recognizing system deficiencies and implementing effective solutions
- Designing, testing, and integrating system and enterprise software and multi-tier systems architectures
- Working together with devops lead and team in the configuration of web server settings
- Handling configuration management
- Creating scalable and efficient systems
- Developing and maintaining custom Drupal modules and themes
- Debugging, optimizing, and managing problem solving in Drupal and Drupal decoupled environments
- Performing other duties as needed
