Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role
  • Familiarity with financial systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools or the ability to learn these systems quickly
  • Exceptional Excel skills, with experience building detailed financial models and conducting scenario analysis
  • Proven ability to support senior leadership by delivering actionable financial insights
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, and accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely delivery of financial forecasts and budgets that align with company goals
  • Proactive identification of financial risks and opportunities, with actionable recommendations provided to leadership
  • Positive feedback from key stakeholders (VP of Finance, Founders, department heads) on the quality of analysis and insights
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial models that support strategic business decisions
  • Timely and accurate preparation of all financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Ensuring financial forecasts are up-to-date and reflective of current business realities and strategic plans
  • Providing actionable insights based on financial analysis that influence business outcomes
  • Maintaining financial discipline within the organization through careful monitoring of expenses, cash flow, and capital allocations
  • Ensuring alignment between financial forecasts and operational plans, helping to guide key investment decisions
