Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, with excellent Excel skills
  • Good communicator with a 'Get It Done' attitude

Responsibilities

  • Support the accounting/finance team on financial activities especially on financial consolidation ensuring compliance with accounting rules and regulations
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
  • Preparing and creating budget and forecast templates
  • Checking Excel formulas in templates
  • Coordinating studio heads and their local Finance teams to consolidate the abovementioned templates and reports
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budget/forecast and provide insights on financial performance
  • Coordinate and interact with local Finance teams to perform variance analysis
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Create customized financial reports for different lines of business
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
  • Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and provide analytical support
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed to support senior management
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities
  • Improve and streamline financial statement closing process/monthly closing process/managerial reporting process
  • Maintain financial records for Los Angeles/Line of Business to facilitate management reports
  • Assist in budget preparation by providing relevant information regularly
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual departments
