Remote Senior IT Administrator

Summary

Join our team as a Senior IT Admin and optimize our IT infrastructure with a strong emphasis on automation and improving day-to-day operations for end users.

Requirements

• Strong skills in system management and troubleshooting across various technologies (e.g., OKTA, JAMF)
• Significant experience in IT systems engineering with a robust understanding of cloud services
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as an IT engineer, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience managing IT systems
• Excellent problem-solving abilities along with strong communication and collaborative skills
• Proven experience with automation tools (e.g., Workato, BetterCloud) is desirable
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage IT projects effectively
• Ability to identify trends and suggest remediation strategies to improve system performance and user experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize IT systems supporting enterprise-level applications and infrastructure
• Implement and maintain IT solutions to enhance system performance and reliability
• Manage the integration of identity management solutions, such as OKTA, with our systems to enhance security and user access
• Provide expert troubleshooting for identity management and system access issues
• Utilize automation tools, such as Workato or BetterCloud, to create and manage automated workflows
• Focus on improving end-user experience through efficient system management and automation
• Manage IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery
• Identify trends in system performance and user behavior, and suggest and implement remediation strategies
• Communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders to ensure system integrity and performance
• Collaborate with IT teams to align systems and processes, enhancing operational efficiency
