Senior Platform Engineer

Requirements

• Proficiency in a programming language like Python
• Solid expertise in Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Lakehouse platforms - Databricks
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS with GPU support)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Docker, Terraform, CI/CD, Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Data Engineers on evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools for the project
• Setting up and configuring the development, production, and other required environments
• Role definition documentation and permission management method
• Implementing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery processes
• Monitoring the platform's health, performance, and availability
• Planning, estimating, and monitoring infrastructure costs
• Defining and implementing security measures according to best practices
