Senior Platform Engineer

This role requires 8+ years of experience in coding, CI/CD pipeline design, cloud technologies, and Kubernetes. Technical leadership and strategic influence are also key aspects of this position. Requirements

• 8+ years of experience writing code in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, TypeScript, Bash, Go), with a strong focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions
• Proven expertise in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for large-scale, complex systems, including advanced Gradle optimizations, JVM performance tuning, and multi-application orchestration
• Extensive hands-on experience with multiple CI tools , such as AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD, with the ability to evaluate and implement the best solutions for a given context
• 8+ years of experience working with Cloud Technologies , with expertise in architecting secure, cost-optimized, and scalable cloud-native solutions
• Advanced proficiency with CD tools , such as Spinnaker and ArgoCD, with the ability to design and implement sophisticated deployment workflows
• Deep experience managing Kubernetes clusters at scale , including multi-region deployments, advanced networking, and implementing service meshes
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Crossplane, or Pulumi, with a focus on modular and reusable design patterns
• Technical leadership : Proven track record of mentoring engineers, driving architectural decisions, and leading complex projects from ideation to delivery
• Strategic influence : Ability to align technical execution with business priorities and provide thought leadership to influence technical direction at an organizational level

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable and reliable platform technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Optimize and enhance existing systems for performance and scalability
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery
• Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Preferred Qualifications

• Database and Storage Optimization : Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Networking in Cloud Environments : In-depth knowledge of VPCs, service meshes (e.g., Istio), and API gateways
