Remote Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join SmithRx as a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our product, collaborating with stakeholders to define approach, tone, personality, ease of use, and end-to-end flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services
• Experience at a high-growth startup a plus
• Portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Photoshop, AdobeXD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Positivity; non-dogmatic, team-first attitude
• Flexibility; someone who is responsive and comfortable with ambiguity
• Proven ability to collaborate with teams and work autonomously, with excellent communication skills
• Strong multitasking and time-management abilities, with a focus on task prioritization

Responsibilities

• Investigate user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets
• Develop and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand
• Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
• Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets
• Test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
• Partner closely with cross functional members to define user needs, opportunity space, and product requirements
• Deliver detailed design flows and specifications, ensure product excellence throughout product development and implementation process
• Build strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders to drive user focus, creativity, efficiency, and product excellence
• Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior
• Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design
