Senior Program Manager, Racial Equity Initiative

Summary

Join UnidosUS as a Senior Program Manager to support efforts in developing and articulating a 'Latino lens' within public discussion on racial equity and justice. The goal is to ensure accurate understanding of Latino contributions and systemic barriers, and strengthen representation in public discourse.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Professional with five (5) years to seven (7) years of relevant experience in a nonprofit setting working on Latino issues
• Strong writing and project management experience
• Knowledge of key racial justice trends, debates, and struggles in all communities of color
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Office 365

Responsibilities

• Research and document how Latinos have experienced manifestations of structural racism
• Author or co-author, edit, and publish major works (e.g., reports, journal articles, papers) and develop a dissemination plan
• Participate in fundraising efforts, identify new opportunities, and draft funder proposals and reports
• Prepare reports, fact sheets, presentations, and talking points for use by UnidosUS staff, leadership, and diverse audiences

Benefits

Salary: $83,022 - $98,230 (salary differentials may apply outside of the Washington DC area)
