Remote Senior QA Engineer, Mobile

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer and play a key role in building transformative data solutions for the BrightInsight platform. You'll design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile applications, with a focus on React Native platforms.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in mobile test automation, with at least 3 years focusing on React Native applications
• Strong expertise in Appium framework and its architecture
• Advanced Java programming skills and knowledge of OOP concepts
• Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Strong understanding of mobile testing principles and challenges
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (LambdaTest, Sauce Labs)
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts in testing and their practical applications

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of mobile test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and practices
• Develop and maintain robust automated test suites for React Native applications using Appium and Java
• Drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities into the testing framework to improve efficiency and coverage
• Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous testing within the CI/CD pipeline
• Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on test automation best practices
• Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards
• Troubleshoot and debug automated tests across different mobile platforms and devices
• Create and maintain test automation documentation and best practices guides

Preferred Qualifications

• Mobile testing certifications (ISTQB, etc.) preferred
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Understanding of mobile app security testing principles
