Senior QA Engineer

Summary

Mismo is a staff augmentation company specializing in filling technical roles for their customers. They focus on design, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be given significant responsibility as the primary driver for ensuring product reliability and joyfulness. You'll need experience with both web (React) and mobile (iOS/Android), using tools like Cypress, Detox or Cavy, and Jest. Your responsibilities include formalizing and centralizing QA practices, setting up a test case management system, creating reporting systems, determining nonfunctional quality guidelines, working with engineers to integrate tests into the CI pipeline, and establishing load and stress testing strategies.

Requirements

• Has deep experience in running QA processes and systems
• Can operate independently and act as a practice leader
• Is comfortable working in multiple platforms and multiple tech stacks
• Has set up or administered test management tools such as X-Ray, Testrail, etc

Responsibilities

• Formalize and centralize QA and release practices
• Establish processes for coordinating different testing strategies
• Set up a test case management system
• Create reporting systems to give engineers and product managers an easy way to view test results
• Determine nonfunctional quality guidelines and work with PM, design, and engineering to ensure their execution
• Work with engineers to ensure that test systems are integrated into the CI pipeline
• Establish load and stress testing strategies
• Write test cases and determine what should and should not be automated
• Formalize and run bug triages
