Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building and debugging distributed systems in production environments
• You are a Full Stack Engineer with an emphasis on frontend development while maintaining a robust backend expertise
• You bring enthusiasm to all aspects, from enhancing UX to crafting API designs with meticulous attention and respect
• We value versatility over specialization, making T-shaped ideal for these roles

Responsibilities

• Simplify and optimize existing services and scale our systems as we rapidly grow and evolve
• Write sustainable, testable, high-quality, high-performance code
• Support, maintain, and debug microservices in a complex distributed system
• Work with a team to establish and maintain standards for front-end development, while improving the platform as a whole
• Foster a culture of observability and monitoring: use operational data to help your team increase the stability, performance, and usage of our systems
• Partner with members of a multi-functional team and other collaborators to set the direction of our product: learn about our business problems, explore solutions, weigh design tradeoffs, write and prioritize effective user stories to deliver maximum value in a balanced, incremental fashion

Canada Base Pay Range $129,000 — $161,000 CAD
