Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior implementer of ServiceNow solutions
  • ServiceNow certifications are a MUST (Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of Order Management for Telecom (OMT), Telecom Network Inventory, CMDB, Telecom Service Management (TSM), and Telecom Service Operations Management (TSOM)
  • Strong understanding of OSS technologies, including orchestration, integration, APIs, network management, fault management, and performance management
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, WMI, SSH, Python, JavaScript, and XPath
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult on key technical decisions during project delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer-centric attitude, and ability to deal with cultural diversity
  • Proven team player and team builder
  • Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology, with proven experience in technical consulting roles

Responsibilities

  • Be the technical expert in supporting telecom companies by configuring IT Operations Management Service Delivery using ServiceNow best practices focused on configuration rather than customization
  • Hands-on configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience with MID Server integrations
  • Support telecom engagements by defining, re-engineering, improving, and analyzing current and future-state processes during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders
  • Advise customers on leveraging ServiceNow IT Operations Management solutions to enhance their IT processes
  • Lead customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and IT Operations Management solutions
  • Guide customers in completing required documentation, such as business requirement workbooks, for technical aspects of the solution
  • Provide ad-hoc oversight and training for customers’ future system administrators throughout engagements
  • Lead technical aspects of project delivery, sometimes overseeing and unit testing partner resource development
  • Be a lead member of overall engagement project teams, ensuring successful and substantive customer outcomes
  • Prepare all customer-facing deliverables focused on technology and ensure the quality of configured/developed solutions
  • Manage multiple and complex projects/initiatives
  • Promote continuous improvement practices for delivery/engagement materials
  • Provide training and mentoring to other members of the delivery team
