Senior Product Designer, Design System

Join Ryz as a Senior Product Designer and contribute to the evolution and maintenance of a design system for a globally recognized leader in digital sports experiences. This remote position, based in Argentina, is a 6-month contract with potential for extension. You will lead the design system's evolution, ensuring consistency across mobile platforms. Responsibilities include designing UI components, implementing theming systems, and developing strategies for scalability. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of product design experience, a strong portfolio showcasing design system work, and proficiency in Figma. Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a proven track record of working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design system work, mobile app designs, and ideally, any interactive gaming-related projects
• Demonstrable experience building, maintaining, and scaling design systems in Figma
• Deep understanding of mobile design principles and platform-specific guidelines (iOS and Android)
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and experience designing for users with disabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution and maintenance of our client’s existing design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all mobile platforms (iOS and Android)
• Design and implement a robust theming system within the design system, allowing for easy customization and branding across different apps while maintaining a unified core experience
• Design, develop, and document reusable UI components and patterns within the design system, focusing on accessibility, performance, and multi-theme support
• Develop strategies and implement solutions to ensure the design system can effectively scale and support the unique needs of each of our six mobile applications while minimizing redundancy and maximizing reusability
• Leverage a deep understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices and platform-specific guidelines (Material Design, Human Interface Guidelines) to create intuitive and engaging mobile experiences
• Ensure that the design system aligns with our client’s brand guidelines and visual identity
• If applicable: Apply knowledge of interactive design principles to enhance user engagement within their mobile applications, especially if related to game-like features
