Requirements

• 3+ years of visual design experience, preferably in an agency environment
• Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in prototyping tools and software
• Proficiency in using current and emerging Gen-AI software
• Experience designing new, innovative layouts and designs that scale across platforms
• User-centric design approach, with a focus on accessibility and contextual storytelling
• Passion for all aspects of design, including conceptual thinking, typography, motion, copy, and imagery
• A passion for ideas, and storytelling, namely, making work that strives to deliver an impact and foster meaningful connections with the user through your creations
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Guide junior designers, helping them develop their skills and design perspective
• Collaborate with design teams to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to improve design quality and execution
• Start projects from a strong position, developing surprising and smart design concepts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and user needs
• Create innovative layouts and designs that scale and flex across different platforms
• Consider accessibility, technology platforms, and contextual storytelling in design solutions
• Ensure designs are user-friendly, intuitive, and visually appealing
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality
• Work closely with copywriters, motion designers, and other disciplines to create cohesive design solutions
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, encouraging cross-disciplinary teamwork

Benefits

Salary range: $102,000 — $120,000 CAD
