Summary
Join a small, passionate team at Nomad as part of LotusFlare to disrupt the B2C and B2B travel space by bringing back authenticity, inspiration, and fun into all aspects of travel. As a social media manager, you will be responsible for managing Nomad's social media accounts, identifying and securing KOL partnerships, working with cross-functional teams, measuring campaign performance, and building social campaigns based on global events and seasonal trends.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in social media management
- Experience in product marketing management is a plus
- Focus on social / travel / leisure / hospitality companies a plus, as is experience with KOLs / influencers and SEO content generation
- Bachelor’s in marketing related / social media related fields a plus but not required
- Excellent spoken English - able to wield language skillfully to match a specified tone of voice and brand-led strategic messaging in, for example, copy-writing
- Excellent organizational skills (keen planner, good at managing projects, attention to detail, and able to keep on top of a busy content calendar)
- Strong business analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to managing metrics
- Able to take ownership of initiatives and execute on ideas quickly, especially in environments where there are no “right answers”; love working in a startup environment and building things from 0 to 1
- Able to work in a remote, distributed team
Responsibilities
- Manage Nomad’s social media accounts end-to-end
- Identify, secure, and manage KOL partnerships
- Working with the product, marketing, and commercial partnerships team to promote and build the brand for Nomad
- Focus on building an organic presence in our social community
- Work cross-functionally with design, content, performance marketing, product and other teams
- Measure, report, and analyze the performance of campaigns across channels and translate findings into actionable, data-driven recommendations in order to improve future performance
- Stay on the pulse of the social media landscape in order to generate better engagement in new channels
- Build social campaigns based on global events and seasonal trends (e.g. Olympics, student travel, holidays)
