Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in any of the following career fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering from a college or university
  • 10 years experience with U.S. ground military vehicle C5ISR Mission Equipment Packages and electrical configurations, power distribution systems, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents of U.S. ground military vehicles and C5ISR communication equipment
  • Minimum 5 years experience in operating a Software Integration Lab

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems and software engineering services for system/subsystem integration and interoperability
  • Support the configuration, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the SIL
  • Integrate, configure, and test all SIL-related equipment and software components for C5ISR systems
  • Identify and integrate SIL components into a functional development and test environment for verification, validation, and certification activities
  • Check out and troubleshoot hardware and software application functionality for SIL efforts
  • Participate in SIL status meetings and provide updates on operational state, utilization, and integration efforts
  • Deliver SIL status documentation to the COR within four days after each status meeting
  • Perform engineering analysis, trade studies, and market analysis as required, including analysis of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) or software applications
  • Document results of engineering analyses, trade studies, and market analyses, and submit reports to the TPOC and COR within 30 days of completion

We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer (SIL Support)ย in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS).The Software Engineer (SIL Support)will provide high-level systems and software engineering support to the Systems Integration Lab (SIL) located in Warren, MI. This role focuses on ensuring the integration, configuration, and maintenance of SIL-related equipment and software for C5ISR systems, supporting the lab’s continued operations. The Software Engineer will also participate in meetings, provide status updates, and conduct engineering analyses as needed to support SIL activities and objectives.
