Remote Solar Construction Project Manager

Summary

Join a collaborative and entrepreneurial team at ICAST as the Solar Construction Project Manager, responsible for managing solar projects from start to finish, ensuring successful completion on time, on budget, and with high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 3 years of experience in construction project management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Requirements

• 3 years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager or Superintendent w/ a Solar EPC/Installation firm working on commercial or multifamily projects
• Ability to manage and bring to successful completion multiple projects simultaneously
• Must Have Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors and internal support staff to efficiently complete Solar installation projects – both rooftop and larger ground mount
• Responsible for developing and maintaining on-time schedule, budget, and quality requirements, for all projects
• Maintaining regular communications with clients and contractors to address concerns and provide status updates
• Traveling to jobsites to ensure project starts, progresses, and is completed per contractual obligations
• Providing direct assistance to internal staff for coordination, planning, scheduling, subcontracting, and scope clarifications
• Providing regular status reports to ICAST Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of PV & energy storage system design, site selection, construction, and commissioning processes
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
