Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager or Superintendent w/ a Solar EPC/Installation firm working on commercial or multifamily projects
  • Ability to manage and bring to successful completion multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with contractors and internal support staff to efficiently complete Solar installation projects – both rooftop and larger ground mount
  • Develop and maintain on-time schedule, budget, and quality requirements, for all projects
  • Maintain regular communications with clients and contractors to address concerns and provide status updates
  • Travel to jobsites to ensure project starts, progresses, and is completed per contractual obligations
  • Provide direct assistance to internal staff for coordination, planning, scheduling, subcontracting, and scope clarifications
  • Provide regular status reports to ICAST Management
  • Complete ICAST onboarding process within 1 week of start date and training program within 30 days of start
  • Assume the Solar Project Manager role for existing and new projects within 30 days of start date

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of PV & energy storage system design, site selection, construction, and commissioning processes
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, etc.)
  • Prior experience with project management software, ideally smart sheet
  • Possess a general understanding of solar and battery incentive programs
