  • Willing to learn and improve the finance and ticketing domain knowledge
  • Advanced English level

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with sales and customers, preparing high-level WBS, identifying risks and assumptions, and facilitating estimation sessions
  • Designing the architecture and system components on a high level, consulting existing projects, preparing architecture-specific documentation, and making decisions around technical stack and infrastructure
  • Leading code audits, ensuring code quality, security, and adherence to best practices while effectively guiding development teams through the improvement process
  • Controlling the high-level architecture implementation, consulting the team about solution requirements, tweaking solution architecture on the go, and communicating with a customer
  • Resolving disputes and making tradeoffs on different phases of a project, resolving business issues with technical solutions, interacting with stakeholders to achieve common goals, and verifying escalations made by developers
  • Identifying opportunities in existing projects, assisting with marketing technical articles, and discovering trends in software
  • Acting as a midpoint between customer needs and the development team, collaborating with the BA department on solution requirements, and during a project definition phase, collaborating with PM and sales
  • Identifying the need for an R&D project, leading R&D projects, assisting R&D teams, developing POC projects, and contributing to the company knowledge base
  • Preparing and managing comprehensive documentation, including scope items, proposals, pre-audit materials, and audit reports

  • Experience with complex projects in production/enterprise projects (big scale)
  • Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes
  • Code Audit experience

Softjourn is looking for a Solution Architect with a good technical background, strong problem-solving and communication skills. SA will join the TechSales team to work on new projects opportunities and support ongoing project teams with needed solutions.
