Summary
Join BlueConic as a Technical Product Owner to manage the CDP product offering and its implementation from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing the backlog, communicating with stakeholders, and working closely with the team of Software Engineers, UX Designers, and QA Engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical product ownership or software design, including strong experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and how they work
- Knowledge of data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or others
- Fluency with data, including experience with data analytics and the ability to manipulate data to gain insights
- Technical proficiency for tools in marketing technology, advertising technology, CRM, and/or customer analytics
- Deep familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, Python and mobile technologies
- Impeccable organizational and time management skills
- Superlative communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Responsibilities
- Managing and refining the product backlog
- Clearly expressing and prioritizing product backlog items to best achieve goals and deliver value
- Working closely with a team of Architects, Software Engineers, UX designers, and QA Engineers
- Working closely with the Product Manager to understand the roadmap and translating roadmap items into technical user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Leading and participating in refinement sessions, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives
- Ensuring the engineering team is aligned and understands the technical aspects of the tasks at hand
- Understanding and internalizing the product vision, and being available and approachable for your team at all times
- Ensuring the quality of the releases by testing, validating, and accepting the work done
- Having a proactive role in continually improving the process
