Remote Transportation Project Manager

Summary

Join AMT as a Transportation Project Manager in our Towson, Maryland, Rockville, Maryland, or Herndon, Virginia offices. This full-time position offers flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC
• 10+ years’ experience in roadway, highway, and traffic control plan preparation
• Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D

Responsibilities

• Provide oversite using your knowledge of engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize coordinate, communicate, and execute necessary assignments to accomplish the goals, objectives, and fulfill the purpose of the client
• Confirm all work is performed and completed in strict accordance with contract documents
• Participate as a technical advisor to the Client Owner and other team members
• Deliver scope, meeting the schedule, and adhering to budget for assigned projects
• Mentor and teach skills to engineers and other team members
• Contribute in proposal preparation and assist with business development related activities
• Assist with other required tasks
