Requirements

  • Advanced degree in life sciences, business administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years in market access, with a focus on cell therapies or biologics, including leadership roles. Significant market building and launch experience required
  • In-depth understanding of the healthcare landscape, payer dynamics, and reimbursement processes, including inpatient/outpatient reimbursement, US payer value and pricing as well as EU HTA and coverage dynamics
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
  • Proven ability to develop and enhance product value propositions with US and EU payer audiences
  • Established relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision-makers across the US payer landscape

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement market access strategies that align with corporate goals and drive the successful launch and commercialization of cell therapies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including payers, healthcare providers, and policymakers, to advocate for reimbursement and access
  • Conduct comprehensive market assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the cell therapy landscape
  • Develop and oversee reimbursement strategies, including value-based pricing models, to ensure optimal reimbursement for products
  • Ensure that all market access strategies comply with relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with R&D, commercial, clinical, and regulatory teams to align market access strategies with product development and commercialization plans
  • Oversee the market access budget and resources to ensure effective implementation of strategies
  • Lead and mentor a team of market access professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
