Requirements

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery
• Experience with PHP and WordPress themes and plugin development
• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of SEO best practices for web development
• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, efficient, and accessible front-end code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements
• Collaborate with the back-end team to integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
• Implement best practices for performance, usability, and SEO
• Test and debug cross-browser, cross-device compatibility
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to transform designs into functional user interfaces
• Stay updated with the latest trends in web development, particularly within the WordPress ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Knowledge of WooCommerce and experience with eCommerce websites
• Familiarity with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters
• Basic understanding of MySQL and database management
• Experience working with PHP frameworks such as Laravel is a plus
