Renewal Account Executive

Summary

This role is crucial for maintaining and growing our SaaS revenue stream by focusing on the renewal of Commercial and mid-market accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring customer success while maximizing financial results, minimizing attrition, securing favorable terms, and identifying growth opportunities. This position requires a proven track record in sales, specifically in closing deals with mid-sized businesses. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

• 2+ years of full cycle closing sales experience, ideally working with mid-sized businesses in a high transaction environment
• A track record of consistent quota over-achievement
• Comfort with a rapidly changing, high-growth environment
• Empathy for customers and team members
• Highly organized
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with Salesforce

Responsibilities

• Own 50+ renewal engagements per quarter from end-to-end
• Exceed sales targets
• Work cross-functionally, especially with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives, to strategically solve problems, upsell, and ensure a successful, smooth renewal
• Proactively identify and contribute to material improvements in how the team functions
• Contribute to an exceptional team environment that motivates the team to perform at its best
• Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
