Join Third Bridge's Forum team as an Associate, contributing to the creation of impactful research for institutional investors. Based in Hong Kong or remotely in Japan, you will identify and engage industry professionals for interviews, ensuring relevant insights within budget. This role involves researching Pan-Asian industries, particularly in Japan, building professional networks, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You will utilize proprietary tools and public databases to prospect and recruit specialists. Requirements

• A real interest in financial markets and the alternative investments space
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with C-level industry experts on the phone
• Demonstrable skill in carrying out phone-based and desktop research with a logical and focused approach
• Self-motivation; a resourceful nature, with a diligent and proactive approach to work
• The ability to work well within a team, in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. A positive and can-do attitude is essential
• The ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively and reach assigned KPIs
• A score of >3.0 GPA if a fresh graduate
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese
• Bachelor's degree or above

Responsibilities

• Perform research on industries and businesses in the Pan-Asia region, focusing on the Japan market, to source and identify relevant individuals (C-level executives and industry practitioners) for moderated interviews
• Engage these individuals to invite them to participate in research, assessing the relevance of their insights and ensuring fees are within budget
• Build a professional network and monitor relevant markets/companies in assigned sector areas according to Forum content coverage strategies
• Work within tight deadlines and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across different global offices

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience (0-2 years) is an advantage but not required
• Immediate availability is desirable
