Summary
Join our mission to revolutionize mental healthcare by removing every barrier that prevents people from getting the help they need, when they need it. We're looking for a Research Scientist to join the Health Economics and Outcomes Research team.
Requirements
- Degree in mental health research, health economics, or related field (e.g. Developmental Psychology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Sociology)
- Track record of peer-reviewed, academic publications (>10) including first author publications (>5)
- Fluency in a statistical programming language (R, python)
- Strong presentation skills β fluently tell a compelling clinical or business story with data
- Strong written communication skills β quickly compose client-facing communications or publications for peer-review
- Initiative and ability to self-direct projects and solve unconventional problems
Responsibilities
- Publish novel, high impact academic research
- Develop and execute study designs for prospective comparative efficacy studies
- Conduct exploratory academic research to develop novel algorithmic approaches for optimizing clinical outcomes
- Conduct comprehensive, program evaluation for tools and trainings implemented throughout our network of psychologists and psychiatrists
- Iterate and improve existing statistical approaches used to develop care plans for individual patients that maximize the likelihood of remission
- Create secure data deliverables across multiple contexts, such as: claims analyses/financial ROI, longitudinal treatment outcomes, provider quality, and risk stratification algorithms
