Summary
Join CoreWeave's Revenue Accounting team as a key member driving process improvements, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and developing team members. You will present revenue results to leaders, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure accurate revenue recognition and commissions accounting compliance. Responsibilities include leading the month-end close process, preparing financial journal entries and reconciliations, presenting revenue information to executives, identifying process improvement opportunities, and serving as a subject matter expert. The role requires significant experience in revenue accounting, strong knowledge of ASC 606, and Netsuite ARM experience. Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive experience at either Big 4 public accounting firms or global high-tech organizations, with 4+ years in revenue roles
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606
- Experience with Netsuite ARM
- Experience improving revenue accounting processes
- Experience with system enhancement projects
- Experience with >$1M negotiated B2B technology contracts
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, including the ability to simplify complex situations
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
Responsibilities
- Be a leader in the month-end close process for Revenue and Commissions
- Prepare and review financial close journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses, as well as fluctuation explanations
- Present revenue and commissions related information to executives
- Partner extensively with the Technical Revenue and Accounts Receivable teams as well as other teams listed above
- Proactively identify opportunities for both large and small process improvements and propose and implement solutions
- Be the subject matter expert for Commercial Accounting on specific high-profile projects and system implementations
- Improve the Companyβs Netsuite ARM implementation to increase automation and reporting capabilities and efficiency
- Develop other members of the Revenue Accounting team
- Assist in the revenue forecast process in partnership with FP&A
- Design, implement, and perform numerous SOX controls
- Evaluate new product introductions or upstream process changes for impacts to the Revenue Accounting teamβs activities and processes
