Summary
Join Infinx, a fast-growing company delivering innovative technology solutions to healthcare providers, as a Revenue Cycle Specialist. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will manage all aspects of patient account lifecycles, ensuring efficient and accurate claim resolution. This role requires navigating healthcare billing complexities, insurance claims, and adhering to regulations. You will process and submit insurance claims, review patient accounts, identify denial trends, and engage with patients to resolve billing issues. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some office experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of insurance industry
- Skilled in using computer programs and applications
Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims to payers, ensuring accuracy in coding and billing information to minimize denials and delays
- Review patient accounts for correct insurance information as well as resolve any discrepancies in patient account balances
- Identify denial trends as well as perform the necessary follow-up including appealing denied claims within a timely manner
- Engage with patients to explain bills, resolve billing issues, as well as accept payment while maintaining a pleasant attitude to ensure a positive experience for the patient
- Adhere to compliance policies and regulations related to medical billing as well as maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines that are set in place
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals as we have a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of insurance AR and post-claim follow-up experience preferred
- Physician claim billing experience preferred
