This full-time, remote position involves managing the entire lifecycle of responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and grant applications. You will lead proposal development, manage content, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance, and track deadlines. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of experience in RFP or grant writing within education, healthcare, or technology, exceptional writing skills, and experience with RFP search engines.   • 3-5 years of experience in RFP writing, grant writing, or business proposal development in the education, healthcare, or technology sectors
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Lead the drafting, editing, and submission of RFPs, RFIs, grant applications, and related documents
  • Maintain a library of proposal content, ensuring accuracy and relevance to Cartwheel’s evolving service model and product offerings
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to gather necessary information for proposals
  • Ensure all proposals comply with submission guidelines, legal requirements, and company policies
  • Track proposal deadlines, manage the proposal pipeline, and ensure timely submissions
  • Analyze past proposals and RFP outcomes to refine processes and enhance future responses

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in RFP/RFI response specifically for K-12 school districts
  • Familiarity with K-12 education policies, funding sources, and mental health services offerings
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate across many stakeholders and prioritize tasks
  • Fluency in Google Suite (e.g. Sheets, Slides) and proven ability to quickly learn new tools and technology (e.g. Salesforce, Zoom, Asana)
  • Experience with building relationships across diverse stakeholders and influence without authority
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to work with a small, entrepreneurial team to build a new program
  • Instinctively structures problems into logical components
