Summary
Join Nethermind as a Risk Assistant and implement our comprehensive Risk framework across the organization. You will identify and assess threats to operational efficiency, financial stability, and company reputation. Responsibilities include conducting workshops, supervising risk assessments, populating the Risk Register, and suggesting framework improvements. You will deliver regular risk analysis reports to executives with recommendations for mitigating potential threats. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong communication, interpersonal, and technical skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or risk management
Responsibilities
- Implement the Risk framework to detect potential threats to operational efficiency including underperforming resources, personnel liabilities, inefficiencies, and safety risks
- Implement the Risk framework to detect potential threats to the financial stability of the company, including risky credit, investments, and portfolio inefficiencies
- Implement the Risk framework to detect potential threats to the company’s reputation including marketing missteps, private information disclosures, sanctions breaches
- Populate assessment templates with relevant material regarding Nethermind’s compliance with existing and anticipated regulatory risk requirements at the global, state, federal and local levels
- Conduct workshops and reviews of standard operating procedures
- Prepare and maintain internal and external data gathering for risk analysis and reporting
- Deliver regular risk analysis reports to company executives complete with suggestions for avoiding or preventing potential threats at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Are interested in financial, property, operational, or personnel reporting, regulations, and standards
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have knowledge of risk analysis, database management, and risk metrics
- Are confident and have strong interpersonal skills to run workshops
- Are competent in computer systems and networks
