Risk Operations Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Risk Management, Data Science, Economics, or a related discipline
• Strong decision-making skills, particularly in discretionary, research-based evaluations
• Ability to handle multiple queues and tasks simultaneously, demonstrating urgency and thorough follow-through
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software tools and technologies
• Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support the reporting and monitoring of metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) at both product line and divisional levels
• Review assigned account queues, assess account legitimacy and risk level, and apply appropriate restrictions or dismissals based on findings
• Continuously monitor cases and reports to identify emerging trends, and proactively report findings to management
• Detect and investigate unusual account activities to prevent or stop suspicious transactions
• Contact account holders to verify activities and mitigate potential losses

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience in cryptography is a plus
• Experience or knowledge in SQL/Datawind is a plus
