Summary

The Cognition Robot SW Engineer at Scythe will help robots plan tasks, maintain and expand high-level planning components, and communicate across the organization. The engineer is expected to have experience with robotics planning systems and coding in Rust or other compiled languages.

Requirements

• Writing, debugging, and deploying code for robots in at least one compiled language; we primarily use Rust
• High-level planning systems for robotics, in one or more of the following: Task planning, Optimization (any style), Scheduling, Search

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-level planning components on the robot
• Design, develop, and validate high-level robot planning algorithms
• Communicate across the organization to define and share M.52’s high-level planning capabilities
