Summary

Join Adaptiq, a technology hub supporting R&D teams for product companies, as a Ruby on Rails Developer. You will collaborate with architects to design and build new applications using Ruby on Rails and Go, managing the entire development lifecycle from design to deployment. Maintain the stability and reliability of production systems, working with a support team to resolve issues. Improve existing services by implementing best practices. This role requires 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development and experience with various databases and APIs. Requirements

• Possess 4+ years of experience in developing server applications using Ruby on Rails
• Have experience in designing and implementing data-driven applications utilizing both MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) solutions
• Have experience in optimizing performance within relational databases
• Have experience in writing RESTful APIs and possess a comprehensive understanding of the HTTP protocol
• Have experience in writing unit and integration tests

Responsibilities

• Complete the full software development life-cycle of new applications, starting with technical design alongside architects and concluding with deployment to production in collaboration with the DevOps team
• Maintain production stability and functionality, supported by a dedicated team as a first line of support
• Enhance the technical health of existing services, adhering to best practices from architects, the infrastructure team, or your own innovative solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience developing in Golang
• Have experience working with React
• Have experience with gRPC/protobuf, Apache Thrift
• Have experience resolving high-load problems
• Have experience with concurrent applications
