Summary
Join Callibrity, a Cincinnati-based custom software development consulting company, as a remote Ruby on Rails Developer. This role requires 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience, 2+ years in Java or C#, and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks. You will work directly with clients, participate in pair programming and code reviews, and contribute to greenfield software development projects. The ideal candidate demonstrates mastery of software development best practices (Agile, DevOps, etc.), proactively identifies solutions to challenges, and embodies Callibrity's core values. This is a virtual position requiring US Eastern or Central Time work hours; Corp-to-Corp candidates and non-US based candidates will not be considered. Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
- 2+ years of professional experience in Java or C#
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
- Previous working experience in high-growth technology companies and/or startups
- Understanding of scrum, unit testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps
- Knowledge of microservice architectures and RESTful APIs, especially in Ruby on Rails
- Good experience with relational databases
- Relevant professional experience in Information Technology and/or Consulting
- Four-year degree or successful completion of respected bootcamp/accelerator, or extensive mentorship program
- Successfully solve Callibrity’s CoderPad and Code Pairing Challenges
