Summary
Join BrandBastion, a rapidly growing social media SaaS company, as their Sales & Expansion Director. Reporting to the CEO, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth. This role involves forecasting and managing revenue, overseeing and optimizing the sales process, managing and mentoring the sales team, leading upsell expansion with Customer Success Managers, and expanding partnerships. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, customer success, and product teams. Requirements
- 7+ years in B2B SaaS sales or account management, ideally in social media, martech, or ad tech
- Experience managing both Account Executives and Customer Success Managers in a sales-driven environment
- Strong background in sales forecasting, deal strategy, and pricing negotiation
- Experience with HubSpot CRM and pipeline management
- Ability to coach teams on enterprise sales, negotiation, and upsell strategies
Responsibilities
- Own the overall revenue forecast, spanning both new sales and upsells
- Analyze pipeline trends and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Customer Success and Product to align on messaging and expansion strategies
- Oversee and optimize the sales process and deal stages, ensuring deals are accurately logged and forecasting is precise
- Own the proposal decks and sales materials, making sure they are polished and aligned with our messaging and frequently updated
- Oversee all the tools, systems and processes used by sales team
- Work with the leadership team on pricing strategies, custom deals, and contract structures
- Directly manage 3-4 Account Executives and 1-2 Senior BDRs, helping them navigate challenges and close more deals
- Provide deal coaching, objection handling, and sales training to improve win rates
- Set and track team-wide new business revenue goals, ensuring accountability and performance
- Hire new team members, providing onboarding and training
- Lead upsell strategy for existing customers, managing a team of 8 Customer Success Managers from a revenue growth perspective
- Set upsell and expansion targets, ensuring CSMs actively uncover and close opportunities
- Step in to assist with high-value renewal negotiations and expansions
- Oversee BrandBastion’s strategic partnerships and set up new partnerships with marketing agencies and tech platforms
- Build channel sales strategies with partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Sales & Revenue Leader: You’ve scaled and optimized a revenue function across both new business and upsells
- Player-Coach Mentality: You love mentoring but can still step in to help close deals when needed
- Process-Driven: You ensure CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and a scalable sales playbook
- Experienced in SaaS & Enterprise Sales: You’ve sold to large brands with multi-stakeholder deals
- Strategic & Data-Oriented: You think big-picture and back your decisions with data
