Summary

Evvnt is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to retain and grow key partnerships with media companies in the US. The SDR will be responsible for generating new clients, educating prospects, creating target prospect lists, cold calling, identifying key players, setting appointments, nurturing leads, collaborating with sales and marketing teams, and maintaining accurate lead information in the CRM application.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of progressively responsible marketing, ticketing, advertising sales, inside sales, or business development-related sales experience (preferred)
  • Experience in the local media industry is preferred. This includes, but is not limited to, radio, television, daily newspapers (print or digital), or alternative weekly magazines
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate with, present to, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of a product selling points via phone and email
  • Ability to assist in coordinating sales functions, including prospecting and leads research

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities
  • Educate and develop prospects, leading to hand-off to sales teams
  • Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts
  • Cold call into prospects generated by a variety of outside sources
  • Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle
  • Profile strategic accounts, identify key individuals, research and obtain business requirements, and present solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Set appointments for [redacted] sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
  • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales rep
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in the CRM application
