Summary

Join SentinelOne as a Sales Development Representative and bridge the gap between our Marketing and Sales teams. You will identify and develop relationships with potential customers, leveraging your understanding of data management and experience with data-driven products, particularly in cybersecurity. This role requires qualifying leads, customizing solutions, building client relationships, and proactively seeking new business opportunities. You will report sales results and stay updated on product features and pricing. Success in this position demands strong communication, negotiation, and a proven track record of achieving sales quotas. Ultimately, you will contribute to SentinelOne's long-term growth by boosting sales.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of SIEM and log management technologies, including data ingestion, normalization, correlation, and analysis
  • Awareness of key competitors in the SIEM and log management space and the ability to articulate the unique selling points of the company's solutions
  • Willingness to undergo specialized training on the company’s SIEM and log management products
  • Relevant certification in cybersecurity or SIEM technologies (e,g, CompTIA Security+, GIAC Security Essentials, Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

Responsibilities

  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns and tools as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Identify client needs and business structure
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to the Sales Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products features and new pricing/payment/specials
