Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or other client-facing technical roles with a focus on cybersecurity solutions
- Experience and knowledge in cybersecurity technologies such as endpoint security (EDR, Antivirus, IDS/IPS, Firewalls), networking (IP Addressing, DNS, DHCP), and Windows domain administration
- Strong familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, CIS, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with SaaS solutions and Managed Service Providers (MSP), particularly in the context of cybersecurity
- Scripting and automation knowledge to support efficient sales and deployment processes
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements independently
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in detection and response, clearly articulating the unique value Blackpoint offers in comparison to other cybersecurity solutions
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Support teams to bridge the technical gap between Blackpoint and its customers, ensuring seamless collaboration
- Conduct tailored demos and proof-of-concept trials, effectively translating complex technical concepts into clear, digestible presentations for diverse audiences
- Oversee and manage end-to-end evaluations, guiding prospects through hands-on experience to demonstrate Blackpoint's ability to address their specific security needs
- Utilize your deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks (NIST, CIS, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) to support customers in meeting their security and compliance goals
- Provide valuable insights to engineering teams, helping to refine and align our offerings with customer feedback
