Services Sales Engineer

Summary
Join SpecterOps as a Services Sales Engineer and contribute to our consulting services business. We seek an experienced engineer with a strong background in offensive and/or defensive security operations who enjoys helping customers understand how SpecterOps can assist them in achieving their security goals. This remote position, based in the U.S. or Canada, involves occasional travel for company events and meetings. You will work with customers to understand their business needs and align them with SpecterOps services, execute sales opportunities, collaborate with sales and consulting teams, and act as an interface between them. You will also author blog posts, deliver presentations, and guide prospects through security reviews and contracting. This role requires familiarity with penetration testing, red team operations, security operations, detection engineering, application and network infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and common offensive and defensive security tools.
Requirements
- Experience in Security Sales Engineering, Consulting, or other technical, customer-facing roles within the security industry
- Deep technical knowledge of offensive and/or defensive security operations
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and have an ongoing desire to stay current with the latest technologies

- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background investigation
- Travel: up to 25%
Responsibilities
- Works with customers to understand business drivers and how to align customer needs with SpecterOps services
- Execute on sales opportunities from discovery to deal closure, with or without the support of an account manager
- Collaborates closely with sales and consulting services teams to maintain knowledge of service delivery ensuring a quality customer experience
- Act as an interface between sales and consulting services to ensure smooth transitions of opportunities to active engagements
- Author posts for the SpecterOps and BloodHound Enterprise blogs
- Write and deliver presentations at security conferences
- Support and guide prospects through security reviews and contracting
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent experience in penetration testing, incident response or other security operations
- Experience with offensive security tooling
