Requirements

  • Is a Principal / Lead SE with ten + years of experience in pre-sales roles
  • Has experience winning large deals (mid-seven to eight figure deals)
  • Has working experience across mainframes, midranges, and legacy applications
  • Has working experience white-boarding modern architectures (ex. cloud native k8s deployments managed with automated testing)
  • Nurtures technical champions / coaches

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales, delivery, R&D, and marketing
  • Directly influence revenue (professional services and COSA)
  • Lead technical and feasibility qualification
  • Guide prospects to find high complexity, high value target systems and applications
  • Present and build confidence in the Mechanical Orchard Method and Technology
  • Enable the delivery team to productively engage on a program of work
  • Engage stakeholders and Technical champions throughout the customer journey
  • Collaborate with R&D and Marketing to share fast feedback from the field

Preferred Qualifications

Strong preference for candidates with experience with mainframes in financial services
