Summary
Join ReSource Pro's Business Development team as a Sales Executive and drive growth by acquiring new clients in the Retail Vertical. This remote role, based anywhere in the continental US, involves significant travel. You will develop leads, assess client needs, create proposals, manage contract negotiations, and build long-term relationships with strategic accounts. Success requires a Bachelor's degree, 10 years of sales experience (preferably in BPO, BPM, or insurance), and strong consultative sales skills. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree: Business, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or other applicable area of study
- 10 years sales experience (preferred experience includes BPO, BPM, insurance agency or carrier) with demonstrated sales history in the U.S. (global experience is a plus)
- 10 years insurance agency/carrier experience
Responsibilities
- Develop leads and prospects to identify potential new clients through cold calling, participation in associations and clusters, attending trade shows, leading webinars, and public speaking engagements
- Assess client needs and develops proposals that reflect the problem impact/consequence and the financial case behind the proposed solution. Effectively communicates the business and financial case to successfully close sales
- Understand the clients purchasing process and actively move the opportunity through approval stages, including procurement/sourcing
- Manage the negotiation of contract terms and conditions with the client. Drives action and influences/accelerates negotiations
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively work on large strategic accounts including maintaining long term relationships, development of strong rapport with key points of contact, and building of referrals from the established account
- Develop strategic solution proposals and recommendations to present to clients
- Stays current on market needs and trends to better understand where products fit into business segments. Recommends changes in products/services and sales process by evaluating results and market or competitive developments
- Actively participate in all ReSource Proβs sales, product and services training and development programs and fully engages any other department-level training programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce or similar tools familiarity
- Selling software as a service/Saas within the insurance industry experience
- Consultative sales skills and territory management
