Join BitMEX, a leading global crypto derivatives exchange, as a Sales Intern and contribute to our growth strategy in Spain and Latin America. This internship offers hands-on experience in retail partnerships, market analysis, and client engagement within the crypto industry. You will work closely with experienced sales professionals, gaining valuable insights into sales processes in a dynamic international setting. This paid 4-6 month internship provides a significant opportunity to learn about the sales process in a global environment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. The role involves supporting the sales team in various tasks, including preparing sales materials, managing the CRM system, analyzing sales performance, and coordinating logistics. You will also contribute to outreach efforts and ad-hoc projects aimed at improving sales processes and developing new retail strategies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, or a related field
- A strong interest in sales, crypto, and the Spanish/Portuguese markets
- Previous exposure in a client facing role, have experience in handling client objections regardless of industry
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese (both written and verbal) is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent time management
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in preparing tailored sales materials for partners and retail clients
- Assist in managing and updating our CRM system with client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline data
- Help prepare and analyze sales performance reports
- Coordinate logistics for samples, marketing materials, and other sales-related resources
- Assist in outreach efforts to potential and existing KOLs and clients, including email communications and initial calls, predominantly in Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects aimed at improving sales processes, developing new retail strategies, or optimizing existing partnerships within the Spanish and Portuguese speaking markets
