Summary
Join Kraken Digital Asset Exchange's Institutional Sales team as a Sales Manager and drive growth for custody and staking products. You will support institutional sales across the US, generate and pursue client leads, build strong client relationships, collaborate with internal teams, participate in industry events, and advocate for Kraken's product suite. This fully remote US-based role requires over 5 years of institutional sales experience, including at least 1 year in crypto, a deep understanding of cryptocurrency ecosystems, a strong network in the financial and crypto industries, and a belief in Kraken's values. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a passion for the crypto world. Applications are ongoing.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of expertise in institutional sales, demonstrating a proven track record of spearheading sales and expanding business within the institutional sales segment
- At least 1 year of experience in a crypto organization selling financial products, ideally custody and/or staking, to an institutional client base
- As a complete degen, you have a deep knowledge and comprehension of cryptocurrency ecosystems, including its players, frameworks, and market dynamics beyond blue-chip tokens
- A robust personal network within the financial and crypto landscapes, with a particular focus on institutional and corporate clients
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems, conduct analysis and identify innovative solutions
- Interest about the cryptocurrency world and most importantly a learning attitude about new crypto-industry trends
- Believe wholeheartedly in the crypto, cypherpunk, libertarian values of Kraken described in our Tentaclements document
- Based in the USA and fluent in English
Responsibilities
- Support the institutional sales across the US, drive client and volume growth for our custody and staking products
- Generate, filter, and pursue client leads, including responding to inbound opportunities and assisting team members in doing the same
- Build trustworthy relationships with our institutional clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how Kraken can generate value for them
- Partner up with Marketing, Product, Strategy, and Business Development teams to provide market intelligence, develop new product features and leverage competitive advantages
- Participate in industry events and conferences to generate leads and enhance Krakenโs institutional brand presence
- Be a Kraken advocate in promoting our full product suite of products, services and companyโs value to new and existing clients
