Summary
Join Axonius as a Salesforce Admin & CPQ Specialist and become a key member of the GTM Systems team, enhancing our Salesforce ecosystem. This role focuses on CPQ/Revenue domain work (60%) and general Salesforce Admin responsibilities (40%). You will design, configure, and maintain our Salesforce CPQ solution, supporting broader Salesforce administrative needs. You'll drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency by enabling sales teams to efficiently quote and configure complex deals. The position involves collaboration with stakeholders, continuous improvement of the CPQ solution, and participation in the software development lifecycle. You will also support sales enablement and contribute to team process improvements. This role requires strong Salesforce CPQ and Admin skills, experience with lead-to-cash processes, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of combined hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and general Salesforce Administration, including configuration and troubleshooting
- Strong general Salesforce Admin skills and a robust understanding of the Salesforce platform fundamentals, including data models, workflows, and security
- Strong understanding of lead-to-cash processes and their practical application within Salesforce
- Proven ability to analyze business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and implement those solutions effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Strong understanding of pricing and packaging strategies and their impact on business outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience with working in and improving Agile development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GTM stakeholders to gather requirements, implement enhancements, and provide ongoing Salesforce support, driving efficiency and effectiveness in their daily operations
- Design, configure, and implement robust CPQ solutions: This includes configuring price rules, discount schedules, product bundles, and other CPQ features to accurately reflect our pricing models and business rules
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the CPQ environment and general Salesforce platform: Troubleshoot issues, resolve user queries, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders: Work closely with revenue operations, sales, product, finance, and legal teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and ensure that solutions meet all business objectives. You'll need great stakeholder management to build strong relationships and align on shared goals
- Drive continuous improvement through iterative delivery of functionality: Identify opportunities to enhance the CPQ solution and general Salesforce platform, improve user experience, increase efficiency and reduce quote cycle time, minimize errors, and enhance the overall customer experience. You'll contribute to delivering iterative functionality through sprint cadences and rituals
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: Contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of CPQ and Salesforce solutions, demonstrating strong abilities in all methodology disciplines from requirements to deployment
- Develop excellent systems documentation: Ensure that all configurations, processes, and solutions are well-documented and easily understood by other team members
- Ability to identify and address Salesforce technical debt, actively working to drive out complexity and outdated fields, flows and automations from the Salesforce org
- Support Sales Enablement: Assist in training and supporting sales teams on the use of the CPQ solution and other Salesforce functionalities
- Collaborate with the existing team to drive delivery process improvements: Actively participate in team discussions, share knowledge, and contribute to optimizing our workflows and systems
- Communicate effectively: Clearly and concisely communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Stay current with Salesforce CPQ and platform best practices and new features: Continuously learn and apply new knowledge to improve the effectiveness of our solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification is a plus
