Summary

Join Pepperstone's technology team as a Salesforce Architect, ensuring the strategic alignment of the Salesforce platform with company objectives. This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, Salesforce Architect certifications, and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Salesforce Certified Architect certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Certified Application Architect, Certified System Architect)
  • Minimum 5+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce integration patterns and technologies (REST, SOAP APIs etc)
  • Experience with enterprise level integration tools
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce development technologies
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, database design, and security best practices
  • Excellent understanding of integration patterns and best practices
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional architecture strategy for multiple Salesforce clouds and offerings (incl Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
  • Define, roll-out and communicate architectural standards, patterns and guidelines within the Salesforce technical teams as well as tangentially related teams
  • Work with the wider architecture team to design, define and improve integrations of Salesforce suite to other systems used in the business
  • Offer functional design guidance, best practice ideals and platform capability insight for various work streams
  • Establish and enforce comprehensive configuration standards for the Salesforce platform, guaranteeing consistency, optimal performance, and adherence to best practices across all applications and customisations
  • Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce product features, providing strategic recommendations for adoption to enhance platform capabilities and drive business value
  • Keep up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, technologies, best practices and feed insight back into the business and team
  • Develop guidelines for custom application development on Salesforce
  • Conduct thorough reviews of integration designs, ensuring seamless data flow, adherence to architectural principles, and the implementation of robust integration strategies across all relevant projects
  • Provide technical leadership (along with the Salesforce Technical Lead) to the team of remote/offshore developers working on Salesforce
  • Constantly evaluate our deployment and release process to ensure best results for the business and its customers
  • Ensure the platform and suite are not only suitable for today and the near future, but also are suitable for the coming years as the business expands and grows in complexity
