Join Marqeta as a Salesforce Architect to lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Salesforce platform to deliver high-quality solutions meeting business needs, impacting Go-To-Market, Customer Support, and other operational teams. This role requires designing and building long-term, scalable Salesforce systems, unlocking untapped potential and improving ROI. The position offers flexible remote work within the Greater Toronto Area or Vancouver Metropolitan Area. You will collaborate with stakeholders, lead the development team, and ensure solution security and performance. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience with Salesforce development and administration, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
- Experienced leading Salesforce engineers and being a role model engineer using best practices, tradeoffs
- Strong collaboration skills working with business stakeholders and other engineering teams
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, workflows, triggers, data structures, and integrations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, specifications, and user manuals
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Salesforce development team
- Ensure the security, quality, and performance of Salesforce solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and technologies, and recommend their use when appropriate
