Summary

The job is for a Salesforce Developer at AdvoLogix, responsible for translating business requirements into solutions on the Salesforce platform, developing and testing custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation, and providing excellent client-facing communication skills. The position requires at least 3 years of Salesforce platform experience, understanding of the Salesforce product suite and multiple clouds, extensive development experience using various technologies on the Salesforce platform, configuration experience, ability to perform automated testing and write unit tests, familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies, and current platform developer I and II certifications. The job offers work from home anywhere in the continental United States, medical, dental, vision, and benefits after 30 days, and three weeks annual vacation.

Requirements

• Proven ability to develop and optimize integrated business processes across disparate systems, including point-to-point and integration platform-based API integrations
• Minimum 3 years of Salesforce platform experience (5+ years preferred)
• Understanding of the Salesforce product suite and multiple clouds
• Extensive development experience using Lightning Components, Javascript, VisualForce, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch Apex, HTML, CSS, and other programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Configuration experience using the Salesforce point-and-click application administration interface, including security model design, declarative application development, and experience building solutions using process builder and flows
• Ability to perform automated testing and write unit tests
• Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, or Jira
• Excellent client-facing, written, and oral communications skills
• Current platform developer I and II certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products
• Participate in technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives
• Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
• Develop custom solutions and interfaces on top of the Salesforce platform
• Execute test plans to ensure quality delivery
• Provide estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks
• Absorb new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce and AdvoLogix products during new product releases and acquisitions
