Salesforce Technical Architect

Summary

Join BeyondTrust as a Salesforce Technical Architect, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce SaaS platform technologies. You will be responsible for the architecture and design of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business expectations. Lead the development of standards, design patterns, and best practices. Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and other Salesforce technologies. You will guide architectural framework selection and provide refactoring guidance, leading design sessions and communicating design options to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Hold a BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline
• Possess at least 4-6 years’ experience in an Architecture role
• Have at least 4 years’ experience with Integration technologies
• Have at least 4 years’ experience in Agile methodologies
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be a strong team player who can effectively build consensus among the team and stakeholders
• Demonstrate a strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions
• Have experience in designing and developing software components, including experience with CPQ architectural, development, and debugging skills
• Possess expert end-to-end application life cycle implementation experience using the Salesforce platform
• Have development experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Force.com and approaches to mobile applications
• Be able to integrate Salesforce systems to Single Sign-on Identify Management platforms like OKTA
• Have experience with system configuration using workflows, approval processes, custom objects, validation rules, formulas, process builder, flows and Data Loader
• Have experience with meta-data migration between Salesforce(dot)com (SFDC) Sandboxes and Production Orgs
• Have experience with development life cycle, code management strategies, sophisticated technical concepts, architecture, secure development practices, access management, data security, and capacity considerations
• Have experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, GitHub, Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and design of complex Salesforce platform solution components, including technical and solution architecture design, development, prototyping and release management
• Drive the creation of application and technical design documents which leverage Salesforce best practices and effectively integrate Salesforce into the enterprise infrastructure
• Work with Project Managers, Customers, Development, Solution Designers, and QA to effectively communicate technical architecture
• Develop and uphold detailed documentation for technical architecture, workflows, and system configurations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications
• Guide architectural framework selection and provide guidance with refactoring
• Lead design sessions and communicate out-of-box and custom design options to stakeholders
• Define the system landscape to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a solution
• Demonstrate hands-on proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Lightning Web Components etc
