Salesforce Technical Architect

Summary

Join Mediafly as a Salesforce Technical Architect to design and implement scalable, secure Salesforce solutions. Lead technical design sessions, translate functional requirements into technical designs, and oversee engineering execution. Ensure high-quality delivery by defining and upholding development best practices. You will also mentor engineering teams and stay current on Salesforce platform updates. This is a high-impact leadership role advancing product growth and ensuring technical excellence. The position is 100% remote with flexible hours and a collaborative team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 9+ years of CRM experience, with at least 6 years on the Salesforce platform
• Deep expertise across the Salesforce suite: Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience (Community) Clouds
• Proven ability to design performant, scalable Salesforce solutions for large data volumes
• Strong understanding of data architecture, sharing models, visibility rules, and platform limits
• Proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, LWC)
• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and tools (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware like MuleSoft or Dell Boomi)
• Working knowledge of cloud storage and eventing platforms (Azure Event Hub, AWS S3)
• Familiarity with release and environment management, version control, and CI/CD workflows
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Scrum)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design sessions and architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions aligned with product and business goals
• Translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs and specifications
• Oversee engineering execution and enforce architectural standards and governance
• Define and uphold development best practices, conducting code reviews and ensuring high-quality delivery
• Design and develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and LWC
• Architect and implement integrations with third-party systems via APIs and middleware
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on Salesforce development, best practices, and platform limitations
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and maintainability through continuous tuning and enhancements
• Stay current on Salesforce platform updates and industry trends, and assess their impact on product direction
• Present architectural solutions and technical strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Drive ongoing improvements in development methodologies and tooling

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., CTA, Application Architect, System Architect) preferred
• Experience with containerized and microservices-based architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, MQTT)
